2. In ancient India the social class system was titled the caste system. 3. The caste system has 4 levels and 1 sub level. 4. Each level had specific laws about diet (the food they ate), clothing, bathing, marriage, and social interactions (how people work, talk, and play with each other). 5. The levels with in the caste system were forbidden from intermarrying (to marry someone not at their caste level). 6. Create 5 laws for one of the levels of the caste system on the worksheet provided. |
